On Thursday, May 15, PEN in collaboration with Pasadena City College’s Parent Education Program will offer an event for parents of children entering TK and kindergarten in the fall. The event will run from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran church, and will include a session on how to engage with your child’s elementary school (presented by PEN); and a session on developmental readiness and preparing your child for the transition to TK or Kindergarten, presented by long-time PCC Parent Ed teacher and parenting coach Gia Blount.

The workshops will take place at the site of one of PCC’s parent education classes. Children are welcome; there will be a supervised play area and activities adjacent to resource tables and workshop sessions.
