Black Living History Museum

This year’s Black History Living Museum event will take place on Tuesday May 13 at the Robinson Recreation Center in Pasadena. Sponsored by PUSD’s African American Parent Council (AAPC), BHLM is a powerful interactive showcase where students research and personify a notable Black figure (historical or contemporary) who inspires them. All PUSD 3rd-5th graders are eligible to participate. Click here to learn more and register your student. (Registration deadline is April 21st!)

Participating Students

  • Will expand their knowledge of the contributions of Black Americans 

  • Will strengthen their research and oratory skills

  • Will be celebrated by the PUSD community and dignitaries from the City of Pasadena

  • Will receive recognitions for their participation

  • Will have a great time!
