Welcoming Schools: The Office of Family and Community Engagement provided 9 professional development sessions for Community Assistants, Teachers and Principals; and 2 parent workshops on Welcoming Schools to strengthen welcoming climate at schools, rebuild relational trust with families and better engage families while students return to school and beyond. On April 27, 6-8pm, Parents, Teachers, Principals and Community Assistants are invited to reflect, share and discuss ways to engage and work together to support students’ wellbeing and learning outcomes.
