Each school with 21 or more English Learners is required to have an The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), which addresses issues specifically related to English Learners, and advises the principal, the school staff and the SSC on programs and services for English Learners (EL) to assure the needs of EL students are being met. The District ELAC advises the district and provides an annual training for officers of school site ELACs on their roles and responsibilities. DELAC meetings are held (virtually) the third Monday of most months, and are open to the public.
