Redistricting is the process by which a school district ensures population balance in each of its Board of Education areas. Board areas must be made as equal in population as possible and practicable so that communities have equal access to political representation. The 2021-2022 redistricting effort will impact the board areas for future elections. (NOTE: redistricting applies to voting areas only and does not impact school attendance boundaries.) The input of the community is critical to creating a map that provides fair and effective representation for all citizens of the PUSD.
