Registration (following 1st lottery)


Families who wish to enroll at the school their student was assigned in the first Open Enrollment lottery have between Friday, February 26 and Thursday, March 4 to register online. If you indicated online that you wish to continue the second lottery, you do not register at this time. (You will still have the option of registering at the school you were offered initially if you do not receive one of your higher preferences in the second lottery.)

Log in to your dashboard account at https://schoolchoicepusd.com/ to check your 1st lottery results (posted Feb. 19) and to get instructions on next steps.

If you are registering for the first time at a PUSD school, you will need the following documents:

  • Original birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate, immigration certificate, bible record

  • Most recent immunization and vaccination record

  • Proof of residency in the form of a recent gas, electric or water bill in parent/guardian's name

  • Second proof of residency in the form of either a deed of trust, mortgage payment receipt, rental/lease agreement, property tax bill or closing escrow papers in parent/guardian's name

  • Transcripts from previous school, if applicable

  • Individualized Education Program (IEP), if applicable
