Understanding Accelerated Learning

Understanding Accelerated Learning, Session 2

The Office of Family and Community Engagement in collaboration with coaches from the District’s Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development will offer a series of workshops presenting information on PUSD’s Accelerated Learning framework. Accelerated Learning is designed to address unfinished learning or “gaps” to enable students to access grade-level content successfully. This session will focus on how Accelerated Learning is used with math instruction. (You can find a recording of Session 1, Introduction to Accelerated Learning, on the Family & Community Engagement’s Canvas page. However, it is not necessary to have attended Session 1 to attend this session.) Parents will gain knowledge and skills to better support their students' academic achievement, as well as to ask the instructional coaches questions.
