How to Support your High Schooler’s At-Home Learning

A RECORDING OF THIS PROGRAM WILL BE POSTED SOON, AND THE LINK (PLUS Q&A SUMMARY) EMAILED TO PEN MEMBERS AND ANYONE ELSE WHO REGISTERED FOR THE PROGRAM. IF YOU DID NOT REGISTER AND WISH TO GET AN UPDATE, YOU CAN JOIN PEN HERE TO BE ADDED TO OUR MAILING LIST. (There is no membership cost, but your tax-deductible contributions help support our work and are appreciated!)

PEN will host a Zoom program to help parents of high school students (grades 9-12) understand:

  • what the 100% Online learning schedule will look like for your student and family

  • how do you keep high schoolers motivated; how much should parents need to be involved with at-home learning

This program will include a presentation from PUSD staff. (Please note, due to time constraints, this program will focus on the core instructional program and the 100% Online learning model.) Spanish translation will be provided.

PEN will ask PUSD staff to answer questions from those that were submitted in advance. Space is limited to 300 people during the Zoom event, but the event will be recorded and shared. Any additional questions not addressed during the program may be submitted to PEN via email, and we will do our best to respond and post responses to common questions on our Facebook and “Ask PEN” webpage.
