DISTRICT ARTS TEAM/COMMUNITY ARTS TEAM (DAT/CAT) is a monthly forum for teachers, parents, and community arts partners to receive updates and share ideas and information about arts education. School sites are encouraged to designate an “arts representative” from your school site to attend each month.

This year, DAT/CAT's shared goal will be to make a new Arts Plan to present to the School Board in May. This month:

• Meet Karen Anderson, District Arts & Enrichment Coordinator, and hear a State of the Arts in PUSD
• Collaborate with Peggy Burt, Arts Ed Collective Coach and California Alliance for Arts Education on an Arts Equity Declaration (Model Resolution), and the Strategic Plan for Arts Education, 2018-2023
