"PEN is consistently the best, most unified source of need-to-know information regarding PUSD." – PEN member
PEN is a unique organization that was founded by parents, for parents, in 2006. The founding parents’ mission was, and still is, to promote parent involvement in public education in the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) so all children benefit.
Mission
The Pasadena Education Network (PEN) is a nonprofit grassroots organization whose mission is to promote family participation in public education to ensure a quality education for all students in Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre.
Focus
PEN provides unbiased information, parent education programs, and services that make it easy for parents to explore and evaluate our public schools, and engage as effective partners with Pasadena Unified public schools and the district.
Beliefs
