Education policy expert Michael Butler provides a framework to help parents make sense of the quantitative and non-quantitative factors that bear on finding a good middle school for their student. What do API and CST scores tell you about a school - and what do they not tell you? What other factors should inform your decision, and what happens if your first choice turns out not to be an option? This program will prepare parents of 5th graders to get the most from middle school tours.

This program will take place at the Pasadena Central Library Auditorium. Please note that the library parking lot is not available for this event. Free parking is available after 7 pm in the Parole Office lot just east of the library building on Walnut.
